ABOUT ME:

I'm a 21-year-old female vegetarian Psych student, minoring in Bio. I like Neuroscience, science fiction, and long walks on the beach. I also, incidentally, write quite a lot. I write poems, some of which are posted here (most of which are utter crap and I refuse to post online). I also write short stories, and for the most part my prose is generally unoffensive to my delicate sensitivities. This means that I don't hate the writing, not that the subject or story in itself is unoffensive - I like offending people.

I have participated in NaNoWriMo for 3 years, and have won every time, although I hate my NaNo novels so much that I would never consider having them published, without... a LOT of work.

I write for several fandoms; mainly Stargate: Atlantis, although I sort of sauntered over from the Harry Potter Fandom, for which I wrote some truly horrendous fiction. Recently I've branched out and written a few stories for Veronica Mars, Supernatural, Merlin, Smallville/Superman-Movie-Verse, and Stargate:SG-1. Soon, I will have added "Metalocalypse" to the list, in addition to a few miscellaneous.

Quite honestly, some of my writing is awful. After several proofs and a good beta, though, I usually like the result. If you're a fan - I'm flattered, honestly I am.

I may eventually use this journal to post some of my artwork as well. If that's the case, then I will probably leave those posts public.

However, for the record, this is a private journal, in which I usually detail my every thought, need, want, heartbreak, stress, and triumphs as well as the cataclysmic failures. The majority of the entries in my journal are friends-locked. Be warned. Add me at your own risk, because if I add you back, you may very well end up with me spamming your flist on updates on my exam schedule.

On a personal note: I hate Freud. And Schrodinger was an asshole, too.
